Bar Noir

Tucked within the lobby of Maison 140 lies Bar Noir, an intimate and unique neighborhood lounge where both the atmosphere and cocktails are infused with exotic flavor.

In a rich palette of crimson, black and white, Bar Noir features a mix of custom-designed elements by Kelly Wearstler of kwid, as well as Parisian antiques and 1970s touches. Chic slipper chairs in black and white create the perfect hideaway for candlelight conversations and informal gatherings to enjoy a pre-dinner drink before heading out on the town. The richly appointed décor includes Parisian antiques, lacquered wall panels of mirrored Chinoiserie and caning, French crystal chandeliers and Lucite barstools.

Signature drinks at Bar Noir include the French Kiss, a flavorful concoction of Champagne and Chambord; the Lady Godiva, with vodka, Godiva white chocolate liqueur and white Crème de Cacao and an array of rare Sake cocktails such as String of Pearl, with Pearl Sake and Absolute Vodka and Sake-Melon, with Asian Pear sake, Midori and Orange Juice.

Bar Noir is open from 5:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. nightly and is also available for private parties.
